How to Order

We welcome the opportunity to build a dulcimer to your own musical requirements. Placing an order for a custom-built Bear Meadow dulcimer involves four steps:

1. Choose the model you are interested in.
2. See the Price List for the model, options, and accessories you desire. These prices reflect the fact that I am now taking orders for delivery three years from now.
3. Contact Dwain Wilder to discuss the dulcimer model you need, if necessary. Here are three ways to reach him:

4. Make a deposit. This is a 15% nonrefundable deposit, and guarantees your place on the Build List. You can make your deposit in several ways:

• U.S. Mail. Send check or money order to:

• Or you can make a deposit on-line using secure access credit card processing. This is especially handy if you are outside the United States. You can also use this method to pay for repairs and other work done at Bear Meadow.

Please note that we are currently taking orders for delivery in approximately two to three years for both the Standard Series and Concert Series. Considering the length of the Build List, we would much rather receive final balance due at delivery time. Full payment at the time of ordering is strongly discouraged. This also means, it should be noted, that you can place an order without waiting to have the whole purchase price in hand--the balance is due on delivery. (If you need to make special payment arrangements, we will do our best to accomodate you.)
